Houston Emissions Reduction Systems provides Preventative Maintenance and Repairs on Generators
The load test will provide equivalent loading of both generator and prime mover. For each kilowatt of load applied to the gen set by the load bank, an equal amount of load is applied to the prime mover by the generator. This resistive load test removes energy from the complete system.
Our Technician will make minor adjustments on voltage and governor systems during load test. Other advantages of load testing include: determine if generator is capable of carrying its rated load; "cleaning" out of cylinders, injectors and muffler system; and bring engine up to true operating temperature.
What is Preventative Maintenance? It's the anticipation and correction of possible equipment failures before they occur. When you wait for equipment to break before working on it, your practicing corrective maintenance. Preventative Maintenance is a proactive measure that provides the most reliable and continuous performance from your equipment and is a much more cost effective means of maintenance.
